On October 23, 2024, the round table “Elections and Political Reforms in Uzbekistan – 2024” was held in Rome at the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI).
Organized by the SIOI and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Italy in anticipation of the parliamentary elections on October 27, the event included prominent figures in geopolitics and political research, along with consular and institutional representatives from Italy and Uzbekistan.
The Italy-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (CIUZ) was invited to contribute, with President Giorgio Veronesi presenting on investment and trade opportunities between Italy and Uzbekistan.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to delve into bilateral relations and analyze Uzbekistan’s foreign policy in light of its recent political reforms.
