On July 28th, an interview with Giuseppe Ferrario, CIUZ Executive Vice President, was broadcast on the O’zbekiston 24 TV channel.
The interview was aired during the evening edition of the Tahlilnoma news program, in a segment about foreign investments in Uzbekistan. In particular, Giuseppe Ferrario presented the state of Italian investments in the country, highlighting how the sustained growth of its economy is positively influencing companies’ interest in the area.
Indeed, according to analyses, Uzbekistan recorded an economic growth of 6.4% in the first six months of 2024. This is one of the best results in the last ten years, made possible mainly by the economic reforms the government is promoting, such as participation in Free Trade Zones and land supply agreements.
Finally, Ferrario emphasized how the Italian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce, noting the growing interest of Italian companies in investing in Tashkent, can provide solid support for their access to the Uzbek market.
