Presidente
Giorgio Veronesi si è laureato con lode in Ingegneria Chimica presso l’Università di Padova nel 1979.
Vanta 45 anni di esperienza nel settore internazionale dell’ingegneria e delle costruzioni.
Ha ricoperto varie posizioni di vertice in aziende leader del settore, come Foster Wheeler, Tecnimont, Sirtec Nigi e Techint, svolgendo incarichi di rilievo sia in Italia che all’estero.
Nel corso della sua carriera, è stato Presidente, Amministratore Delegato o membro del consiglio di amministrazione in società situate in Italia, Francia, Russia, Nigeria, Singapore e Malesia.
Attualmente, è consulente per Techint SpA e Chimitrade SpA, Italia.
Da aprile 2022 è consulente del Presidente di Uzkimyosanoat, a Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Dal 2016 è membro del Consiglio della Federazione Europea di Ingegneria Chimica (EFCE), di cui è Presidente dal gennaio 2022.
Dal 2020 è membro del Comitato Esecutivo della CIUZ (Camera di Commercio Italia-Uzbekistan) e ne è Presidente dal gennaio 2022.

Vice Presidente Esecutivo
Giuseppe Ferrario was born in Busto Arsizio on June 18, 1959.
Graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering in 1984.
With 40 years of professional experience, he has gained significant expertise in the execution of major industrial projects both in Italy and abroad, as well as extensive knowledge of international markets, holding key managerial roles in the corporate sector.
Current Roles:
- Since 2019: Business Consultant (Focus: management, industrial plant projects, steelmaking technologies).
- Since 2022: Executive Vice President of the Italy-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (CIUZ).
Previous Roles:
- 1999–2005: General Manager at VAI Pomini.
- 2006–2015: CEO of Siemens VAI Metals Technologies, Italy.
- 2015–2018: President and CEO of Primetals Technologies, Italy.
He is a member of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Varese and the C.I.F.I. (Italian Railway Engineers Association).
Vice Presidenti
Dario Barducci graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Florence in 2001. He has extensive experience in marketing, sales, and international project management.
Dario has worked on market analysis and strategic pricing, including collaborations on projects with GE Oil & Gas. Since 2004, he has been with Toscana Nastri, where he currently serves as Head of Marketing and Foreign Trade. His responsibilities include promotional activities, contract negotiations with domestic and international clients, and the development of marketing strategies. He has also developed IT tools for analyzing market prices and offers, integrated into the company’s intranet.
As a Project Manager, he led the establishment of the Belting Rezina branch in Uzbekistan and continues to oversee its development and related projects.
His career is driven by an innovative, results-oriented approach, with a consistent focus on corporate growth and value creation.

Board Members
Niccoló graduated in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2003 and he received his MBA at the International University of Monaco in 2007.
Niccolò grew his professional experience in growing roles and responsibilities in major global companies operating in oil and gas engineering, iron and steel making, mechanical sector.
Since August 2024, he is working in Astana for MAIRE Group as Vice President Central Asia, Caspian and Turkey Region.
He joined the Group since 2016 as Branch Manager of KT-Kinetics Technology SpA in Azerbaijan and since 2018 he was also appointed as General Manager of TCM-KT JV Azerbaijan, LLC, a Joint Venture between Tecnimont SpA and KT-Kinetics Technology SpA. He left Baku in November 2022 and moved to Abu Dhabi for as Region Vice President UAE, Qatar, Iraq and Jordan until August 2024.
In his function in Azerbaijan, Niccoló supported MAIRE Group in developing a sustainable strategic positioning in the Country leveraging on a structured In-Country Value strategy and valorized stakeholder engagement. Niccoló supported the development of one (1) polymer complex in Sumgait (PP 180 KTA and HDPE 120 KTA) as well as the Modernization and Reconstruction of Baku Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev.
In his function in UAE, Niccoló supported MAIRE Group to enlarge its presence in the country and strengthening the bonds with the Area developing a sustainable visibility with local authorities and stakeholders. During his presence in Abu Dhabi, the Group received nine (9) different awards from local authorities including the important NAFIS Award. In addition, Niccoló actively supported a smooth development of key projects in the Area like Borouge 4 and Hail & Gasha in UAE and Ras Laffan in Qatar.
In his current functions Niccoló represents MAIRE Group in the related Region in front of local authorities and local stakeholders as well as he supports the sustainable business development growth of MAIRE Group in several keys countries to boost MAIRE local presence starting from the current active offices in Astana, Baku and Istanbul.
Niccoló held the university-desk of Financial Management and Change and Innovation Management courses at MBA of the Baku Higher Oil School in Azerbaijan for four (4) years.
Ernesto Bottone has been working for 46 years in Plant Engineering and Industrial Construction for the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and Steel industries.
He began his career at the Techint Group, gradually taking on roles in Accounting, Management Control, Procurement, Logistics, Project Management, Sales, and ultimately responsibility for Operational Divisions.
As an expatriate, he managed operational divisions and companies in Nigeria, Libya, the United Arab Emirates, and Iran. He has collaborated with Techint, Fiat Engineering, Tecnimont, Voest Alpine, SITI, Siemens, Tenova, and Primetals. He also served as a board member of Tenova in Vietnam.
He is an advisory member of the following associations:

- UNIVA (Industrial Union of Varese)
He is Vice President of Confindustria Alto Milanese, with a mandate for Human Capital.
Since 2018, he has been CEO and a Board Member of POMINI Long Rolling Mills (formerly Primetals Technologies Italy).

Roberto Mori graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
At Techint he gained over 50 years of experience in managing turnkey industrial plant projects, carried out in numerous countries worldwide, as well as expertise in international arbitration for project disputes under ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) procedures. He held various positions, including Procurement Director, Operations Manager, and Special Projects Director.
He served as President of the Project Management Section (IPMA Italy) of the National Association of Industrial Plant Engineering (ANIMP), President and Chairman of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), and Chairman of its Ethics Committee. Currently, he is Chairman of the IPMA Advisory Board for 2024–2026.
He also teaches courses on Project, Risk, and Contract Management.
He was awarded the Stella al Merito del Lavoro by the President of the Italian Republic.
A former Board Member of the CIUZ (Italy-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce), he has been a member of its Executive Committee since 2020.
