On March 12-13, the Italy-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce participated in the Match4 Eastern Europe & Balkans event, held in Pordenone and featuring Uzbekistan as a guest country. The exhibition was organized by Médinit and Pordenone Fiere, with the aim of connecting Italian and foreign companies in the furniture sector through B2B meetings at the fair’s stands.
CIUZ, represented by Samantha Rampini and Maria Mengoni, accompanied a delegation of eight Uzbek companies. During the opening ceremony, the Uzbek delegation presented the organizers with symbolic gifts, including a chapan, the traditional Uzbek robe, and exquisite ceramics, showcasing local craftsmanship.
The Chamber also took part in the exhibition with a dedicated desk, supporting Uzbek companies in their meetings with Italian counterparts while simultaneously providing Italian companies with insights into market opportunities in Uzbekistan.
The event was an excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation between Italy and Uzbekistan in the wood and furniture sector, an industry full of potential for both countries.
