Milan, January 15, 2025 – Today, a meeting was held at our Chamber office with Khushnud Artikov and Shukhrat Djalilov, Representatives of Uzbekistan Airways in Italy.
This meeting follows the opening of the new Representative Office of the national airline in Gallarate and the announcement of increased flights between Malpensa and Tashkent. Starting in April, there will be three direct weekly connections between the two cities – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays – in response to the growing appeal of Uzbekistan for Italian tourists and businesses.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to explore potential areas of collaboration in 2025, with a joint commitment to further develop and facilitate commercial and tourism ties between Italy and Uzbekistan.
